Mobile Web Developer (2007–2009)
Creating rich, scalable mobile websites for devices using standards-compliant languages (XHTML-MP, CSS, PHP, XML) and platforms requiring minimal to no device-specific hacking.
- Mozes Rapid prototyping and code for mobile web copy of preexisting iPhone app. XHTML-MP PHP frontend with no device-specific customization.
- Bluepulse Extensive prototyping and code for mobile social messaging product targeting users in over 200 countries. XHTML-MP PHP frontend with WURFL-driven device-specific customization. (Site no longer exists.)
- Twitter Clean, fast, cute and incredibly popular mobile web interface for Twitter. XHTML-MP templates and user interface design for RoR backend. (Original version of the site requires using an older mobile user agent to view.)
- TapTap Scalable mobile web directory allowing users to track and vote for their favorite destinations. XHTML-MP templates and user interface design for RoR backend. (An AdMob property which no longer exists.)
- Shozu Quick download site for photo-sharing client. XHTML-MP-valid site shares same PHP backend as PC download page, facilitating easy download of client applications for all (100+) Shozu-compatible devices. (Site no longer exists.)
Yahoo! Mobile Web Developer (2005–2007)
Developing content-delivery platforms, templates, design patterns and websites for mobile devices using proprietary and standards-compliant languages (XHTML-MP, CSS, PHP, XML, XSLT, microformats) targeting millions of users across hundreds of devices distributed globally for Yahoo! Mobile.
- Yahoo! oneSearch Yahoo! Mobile clustered search product created with custom, frontend PHP templates employing standards-compliant XHTML-MP and CSS with some additional in-house technologies to output device-appropriate markup and content for thousands of unique devices is 19 countries. (Live site no longer indicative of my work.)
- Yahoo! Vodafone Japan Responsible for markup language component of content-delivery platform rendering Vodafone Japan's top deck and Yahoo! properties to 30M end-users accessing the mobile web in variants of XHTML-MP, CSS, HTML4x, cHTML, iMode and WML. (Site not available outside of Japan.)
- Yahoo! Mobile, Mail, Search, Addressbook, Photos & Movies Core Yahoo! Mobile properties coded in proprietary XML language launched for five international markets delivering extremely fine-tuned device-specific markup and graphics. (Live site no longer indicative of my work.)
- FIFA World Cup Coded two separate XHTML-MP CSS site templates for PHP backend delivering realtime, device-specific code optimizations for global distribution targeting seven international markets. (Site no longer exists.)
- Helio Clustered Search Coded XHTML-MP CSS site optimized to carrier-specified handsets for Helio U.S. market launch. (Site no longer exists.)
- Howard Stern Promotional Microsite Coded XHTML-MP CSS site in PHP with emphasis on cross-device compatibility relying on automatic markup degradation. (Site no longer exists.)

accessible sites that degrade gracefully in older (4x) browsers and handheld devices.

senior programmer to update seven-year old site. Coded XHTML/CSS site to
implement older, table-driven design. Updated substantial portions of existing PHP and javascript. Emphasis on baseline functionality for javascript-disabled and text-only (Lynx) browsers.

Supervised client side of Novell groupware
applications for San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. Created
documentation, trained users and implemented intranet and internal BBS to
meet ongoing support needs. Developed, managed and maintained content for
